Driller

Core Responsibilities:

Monitor drilling parameters (pressure, depth, rotation speed, fluid flow)
Select and manage drill bits, drill pipes, and other tools based on ground conditions
Interpret geological data to guide drilling direction and depth
Manage drilling fluids (“mud”) to maintain pressure control and cool equipment
Supervise the drill crew (roughnecks, derrickhands, motormen)
Respond to emergencies (blowouts, equipment failure, well control issues)
Complete daily drilling reports and logs
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
