Electrician

Core duties / responsibilities:

Install, connect and terminate wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting and fixtures.
Troubleshoot, test and repair electrical systems using meters, testers and diagnostic tools.
Install and maintain control systems, motors, generators and distribution equipment (industrial roles).
Ensure work meets electrical code and safety standards; obtain permits and arrange inspections when required.
Perform preventative maintenance and document repairs, parts and timesheets.
Communicate with customers, general contractors and other trades; coordinate shutdowns and work schedules.
