Key Duties and Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and service manuals.
Perform routine/preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, inspecting drives/motors/belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters).
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related faults using visual inspection, precision tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Disassemble machinery, repair or replace worn/damaged/defective parts, then reassemble and test.
Align, adjust, calibrate, and fine-tune equipment for optimal performance and production specifications.
Install new machinery or equipment (and sometimes dismantle/move it), including foundation work, alignment, and commissioning.
