Laundry Attendant

Sorting – Separating laundry by fabric type, color, and required cleaning method
Washing & drying – Operating commercial washers/dryers, selecting correct cycles, water temperatures, and detergents/chemicals
Folding & pressing – Ironing, pressing, and neatly folding items (sheets, towels, uniforms, tablecloths)
Stain treatment – Identifying and pre-treating stains before washing
Inventory management – Tracking linen/uniform counts, restocking supply carts, reporting shortages
Quality control – Inspecting items for damage, tears, or stains that didn’t come out; setting aside items needing repair or disposal.
