Staff Management
Schedule, train, and supervise laundry attendants and staff
Assign daily tasks and monitor workload distribution
Conduct performance evaluations and address disciplinary issues
Ensure adequate staffing levels across shifts
Operations
Oversee washing, drying, folding, pressing, and sorting of linens/garments
Monitor production quotas and turnaround times
Ensure proper handling of different fabric types and soiling levels
Manage inventory of linens, uniforms, and laundry supplies (detergents, chemicals)
Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, food service, nursing) on supply needs.
