Key Responsibilities:
Design well plans, drilling programs, and casing programs
Select drilling rigs, bits, mud systems, and downhole tools
Calculate well trajectories, hydraulics, torque, drag, and pressure limits
Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and drilling procedures
Monitor drilling operations and troubleshoot technical problems
Manage risks such as:Well kicks and blowouts
Lost circulation
Stuck pipe
Wellbore instability
Formation damage
