Typical responsibilities:
Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or malfunction
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine root cause
Disassemble and reassemble machines and components
Replace worn parts, bearings, belts, seals, chains, and gears
Align, calibrate, and test equipment after repair
Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues
Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
