Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Sorting soiled items by fabric type, color, and soil level.
Pre-treating stains and applying appropriate detergents, bleaches, or cleaning agents.
Loading and operating commercial washing machines and dryers with correct settings, temperatures, and chemical doses.
Transferring items between machines, inspecting for remaining stains, damage, or wear, and flagging items for rewash or removal.
Folding, pressing/ironing, stacking, and packaging clean items to quality standards.
Loading clean linens onto carts and distributing them to housekeeping, guest rooms, departments, or storage areas.
