Core Responsibilities
Performing planned/preventive maintenance on generators, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), UPS systems, battery banks, lighting, and related equipment.
Troubleshooting power faults, equipment trips, and circuit issues across low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) systems (e.g., 400–690 V up to 6.6–11 kV or higher).
Safe isolations and restorations using lockout/tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work systems, and live-dead-live verification.
Maintaining hazardous-area (Ex/ATEX/IECEx) equipment such as flameproof, increased-safety, and intrinsically safe apparatus (motors, junction boxes, lighting, glands).
