Painter

Inspect surfaces to determine the type and amount of repair needed
Prepare surfaces: scrape, sand, wash, patch holes, remove old paint, apply primer
Cover/mask areas not to be painted (trim, fixtures, floors)
Select or mix paints/finishes to match specifications or color requirements
Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Apply wallpaper, fabric, or other wall coverings in some roles
Set up and work from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts for high or exterior areas
Clean and maintain tools, brushes, and equipment.
