Main Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor vital signs, growth, development, and symptoms in children of all ages.
Administer medications, vaccinations, IV fluids, and treatments (doses are carefully weight- and age-based).
Perform or assist with procedures such as drawing blood, inserting IVs/catheters, wound care, and collecting specimens.
Educate and support parents/caregivers on illness, medications, nutrition, safety, and developmental milestones.
Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, child life specialists, social workers, and other team members.
Provide emotional support and age-appropriate communication to help children cope with illness, hospitalization, or procedures.
