Staff Management
Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff, hosts, bussers, and sometimes kitchen staff
Create and manage staff schedules/shift rosters
Train new employees on service standards, POS systems, and restaurant policies
Conduct brief pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, issues, or goals
Handle staff performance issues and provide coaching or feedback
Customer Service
Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues on the spot
Monitor dining room flow and table turnover
Step in to assist with service during busy periods.
