Personal care / Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assistance with bathing/showering, dressing, grooming, toileting/incontinence care, oral hygiene, and eating/feeding when needed. Help with mobility, transfers (e.g., bed to chair), repositioning, and use of walkers or wheelchairs.
Household and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, tidying), meal planning/preparation following dietary needs, grocery shopping, and organizing schedules/appointments.
Medication and health monitoring: Reminders to take prescribed medications; in some roles (especially home health aides), basic monitoring of vital signs, simple exercises, or assistance with medical equipment under direction.
