Driller

Operate and control the drilling rig and its equipment during drilling, completion and workover operations.
Supervise and coordinate the drilling crew (floorhands, roughnecks, motormen, derrickhand) during shifts.
Monitor drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary speed, pump pressure, torque) and adjust equipment to optimize drilling performance.
Maintain daily drilling reports, trip sheets, mud logs and equipment logs; communicate status to the toolpusher/supervisor.
Oversee safe handling and maintenance of drill string, hoisting systems, mud pumps, rotary table/top drive and other rig systems.
Execute and supervise pipe connections, tripping operations, running casing and cementing support as directed.
Detect and respond to drilling problems (lost circulation, stuck pipe, kicks) and implement immediate mitigation; call for well-control specialists when needed.
