Crane Operator

Inspect crane and hoisting equipment before each shift (hooks, wire rope, brakes, outriggers, safety devices) and complete inspection logs.
Assemble/disassemble crane components (towers, booms, counterweights) when required.
Rig loads, select slings/rigging hardware or direct riggers/signalpersons.
Operate crane controls to lift, move, rotate, and position loads with precision.
Communicate with signalpersons, riggers, and site supervisors (visual signals, radios).
Ensure safe set‑up: ground conditions, outriggers, blocking, barriers, exclusion zones.
Stop operations for unsafe conditions and report incidents or near misses.
Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping of crane; arrange repairs as needed.
