Inspecting machinery to detect wear, malfunctions, or potential issues.
Performing preventive and predictive maintenance (lubricating, cleaning, adjusting, calibrating, and replacing filters or worn parts).
Diagnosing problems using technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic tools (including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and sometimes electrical/PLC systems).
Disassembling equipment, repairing or replacing defective components (bearings, gears, belts, motors, valves, etc.), and reassembling/testing machines.
Installing, aligning, moving, or dismantling industrial equipment.
Documenting maintenance and repairs, managing spare parts inventory, and following safety procedures (e.g., lockout/tagout).
