Conducting routine inspections of wiring, fixtures, panels, motors, lighting, and appliances to identify hazards, wear, or potential failures.
Performing preventive/predictive maintenance (cleaning, tightening connections, lubricating, testing insulation, thermal imaging).
Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults using tools such as multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, clamp meters, and megohmmeters.
Repairing or replacing defective components (wiring, breakers, switches, motors, controls, fixtures).
Installing new electrical systems, equipment, or upgrades and connecting them to existing infrastructure.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
