Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan wiring layouts and installations.
Installing and connecting wiring, conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, transformers, and other components.
Testing systems and circuits with tools such as multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and thermal scanners to ensure proper operation and safety.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems (e.g., short circuits, overloaded circuits, faulty wiring) and repairing or replacing defective parts.
Performing preventive maintenance and inspecting existing systems.
