Supports the kitchen team by keeping the kitchen clean, helping with basic food prep, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations so chefs and cooks can focus on cooking.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping, measuring ingredients).
Support safe and efficient service by setting up stations, stocking supplies, and cleaning equipment.
Follow food safety, health and safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, work surfaces, sinks, floors, walls, and storage areas.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Good manual dexterity and ability to use kitchen tools and equipment safely.
Teamwork, communication, and a positive, proactive attitude
No experience needed.
