Key Duties and Responsibilities
Performing routine and preventive maintenance (e.g., inspecting drives, motors, belts; checking fluid levels; replacing filters; lubricating machinery).
Diagnosing and repairing issues in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems.
Responding to work orders, service requests, and emergency calls from occupants or management.
Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics; using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
Repairing or replacing components (pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, switches, outlets, etc.).
Maintaining safety systems (alarms, fire protection) and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Keeping accurate records of work, repairs, and inventory, often via Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
