Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Performing routine and preventive maintenance on pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, submersible, gear, reciprocating, positive displacement, and others), including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections for wear, leaks, corrosion, vibration, or heat.
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using tools such as multimeters, vibration analyzers, pressure gauges, flow meters, and diagnostic software.
Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, or replacing components (seals, bearings, impellers, shafts, couplings, motors, valves).
Installing new pump systems, aligning components, connecting electrical/hydraulic systems, and commissioning them to manufacturer specs and performance requirements.
Testing pumps (hydrostatic, performance, pressure/flow) and adjusting settings (including Variable Frequency Drives/VFDs) for optimal operation.
