Cleaner

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in facilities such as offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, warehouses, or residential buildings. Also  performs daily cleaning tasks, follows established cleaning procedures, handles cleaning supplies safely, and helps ensure surfaces and restrooms are sanitary and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize assigned areas including floors, restrooms, kitchens/break rooms, hallways, and common areas.

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, mops, buffers, scrubbers) according to safety guidelines.

Empty and replace trash and recycling bins; separate waste according to facility procedures.

Report maintenance issues and hazards (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks, damaged floors, pest sightings) to supervisors promptly.

Maintain cleanliness of storage areas for supplies and ensure inventory is managed properly.

Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting supplies/equipment, repetitive cleaning)

Attention to detail and ability to meet cleaning schedules/checklists.

Reliability and punctuality (work accurately, on time, and with minimal supervision).

Good communication skills to report issues.
