Main job duties:
Receives outgoing-order requests and confirms the product, quantity, destination, delivery method, weight, and customer instructions.
Picks, checks, packs, seals, weighs, and labels cartons, pallets, parcels, or containers for dispatch.
Prepares shipping documents, such as delivery notes, packing lists, waybills/air waybills, invoices, bills of lading, dispatch reports, and carrier labels.
Verifies that items being shipped match the sales order or dispatch note, helping prevent wrong items, short deliveries, and duplicate shipments.
Arranges collection or delivery with transporters, courier companies, drivers, freight agents, or shipping lines.
