Key responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Install wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting, motors, and control systems.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical circuits and equipment.
Test systems with meters and other instruments; verify continuity, voltage, and load.
Ensure work meets local electrical code (e.g., NEC in the U.S.) and company safety standards.
Perform preventive maintenance and make emergency repairs.
Coordinate with general contractors, site managers, and other trades.
Keep accurate work records, material lists, and report job progress.
