Core responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems (motors, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, drives, UPS, lighting).
Troubleshoot electrical faults, root-cause failures, and restore service with minimal downtime.
Maintain and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
Program, commission and maintain PLCs, motor drives and HMI systems.
Conduct electrical testing (insulation resistance, earth tests, power quality, motor tests) and interpret results.
Implement and optimize preventive maintenance plans (CMMS work orders).
Enforce electrical safety practices (lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E/IEC standards) and lead incident investigations.
Coordinate with operations, mechanical maintenance, contractors and vendors for repairs/upgrades.
