Key responsibilities:
Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate laundry staff.
Coordinate workflow to meet volume and delivery deadlines.
Operate and oversee washers, dryers, presses, folding machines, and finishing equipment.
Monitor quality control: inspect linen/garments for stains, damage, proper processing.
Maintain inventory of linens, detergents, chemicals, and supplies; place orders as needed.
Enforce OSHA/safety procedures, chemical handling, and infection-control protocols (if in healthcare).
Perform or coordinate routine maintenance and report repairs for equipment.
Track and report production metrics, costs, shrinkage, and downtime.
