Key responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests; present menus and daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to galley/bar.
Serve appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages promptly and professionally.
Set, clear, and reset tables; maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
Upsell specials, wine pairings, and cabin service when requested.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special dietary requirements politely and quickly.
Record and process charges using the ship’s POS/billing system.
Follow food safety, sanitation and beverage-service regulations.
Participate in pre- and post-service briefings; assist with buffet or specialty dining as needed.
