Carpenter

Constructs, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures made primarily from wood and other materials. Work ranges from rough framing (walls, floors, roofs) to finish work (cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, furniture).  Read blueprints, measure and cut materials accurately, assemble components, and ensure everything is level, square, and structurally sound, also  work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, often outdoors or in partially finished buildings, and may specialize in areas such as framing, finishing, formwork, or cabinetry.

Duties includes: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, measure, mark, cut, shape, and install wood and other building materials, build and install frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, and roofs and use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely.

Requirements are: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, comfortable  working at heights, in varying weather, and lifting heavy materials and Problem-solving and attention to detail.
