Core Responsibilities
Preventive maintenance — Scheduling and performing routine inspections, servicing, and calibration of equipment to prevent breakdowns
Troubleshooting and repairs — Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic/pneumatic faults and fixing them quickly to minimize downtime
Equipment installation — Setting up new machinery and ensuring it’s integrated safely into existing systems
Record keeping — Logging maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment history
Spare parts management — Monitoring inventory of critical spares and ordering replacements before shortages cause delays.
