Moves, loads, unloads, and stacks materials or products using a forklift or similar powered industrial truck, typically in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, or construction sites, inspect the forklift before and after each shift (fluid levels, tires, brakes, forks, warning lights) also read work orders, shipping documents and maintain accurate inventory records, sometimes using a barcode scanner or warehouse management system (WMS).
Requirements includes no formal degree is required, good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness, attention to detail and safety consciousness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
