Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products per sampling plans, drawings, and procedures.
Perform dimensional checks (calipers, micrometers, gauges), visual checks, functional tests, and specialized tests as required (hardness, leak, electrical).
Use measurement tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) when needed; follow calibration schedules and report OOS (out of specification) readings.
Document results in inspection records, ERP/LIMS/QMS systems; create nonconformance reports (NCRs) or inspection failure reports.
Tag and segregate nonconforming material; initiate/track corrective actions (CAPA) and support containment activities.
Support first-article inspections (FAI), master sample maintenance, and process capability monitoring.
