Key responsibilities:
Install, commission and maintain electrical distribution systems (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, busbars, cabling).
Troubleshoot and repair motors, generators, distribution panels, starters, breakers and control circuits.
Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections; document findings and actions.
Perform tests (insulation resistance, earth/ground tests, continuity, voltage/current checks) and record results.
Work with instrumentation and control interfaces (basic PLC/HMI fault finding, relays, sensors) as required.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics and P&IDs.
Execute safe isolation, lockout/tagout (LO/TO), and follow permit-to-work procedures.
Support shutdowns, turnarounds and commissioning activities.
