Laundry Supervisor

Key responsibilities:

Manage daily laundry operations: washing, drying, ironing/finishing, folding, sorting, and delivery.
Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate laundry attendants and temporary staff.
Maintain quality control: inspect items for cleanliness, damage, stains, and proper labeling.
Monitor and operate laundry machinery; coordinate routine maintenance and repairs; escalate breakdowns.
Manage inventory of linen, detergents, chemicals, PPE, and spare parts; place orders and control costs.
Maintain accurate records: production logs, temperature/chemical use, service tickets, lost/damaged item reports.
Implement and enforce infection-control, health & safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
