Sort soiled linens, towels, and garments by type, color, and fabric before washing
Operate industrial washers, dryers, and pressing/folding equipment
Load and unload machines, monitor wash cycles, and add appropriate detergents/chemicals
Fold, stack, and store clean linens according to facility standards
Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage; remove unusable items or send them for repair
Deliver clean linens to designated departments (housekeeping, nursing units, food service, etc.) and collect soiled items
Maintain accurate inventory counts of linens and supplies.
