Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, generators, switchgear, transformers, motors, and control panels
Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical faults on equipment, cabling, and power distribution systems
Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance per PMS (Planned Maintenance System) to prevent breakdowns
Hazardous Area Work: Work with Ex (explosion-proof) equipment, ensuring compliance with ATEX/hazardous area classifications common on oil & gas platforms
Cable Work: Terminate, test, and troubleshoot HV/LV cables and instrumentation wiring.
