Job Details
Responsible for keeping all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery running safely and efficiently and inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to prevent downtime, ensure safety compliance, and support production/facility operations.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment and facility assets.
Inspect, test and repair lighting circuits, emergency exit signs, distribution boards, and ballast systems.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, switchgear and lighting fixtures and repair/replace them.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and work orders.
Complete maintenance logs, repair records, and safety checklists.
Requirements includes:
Strong knowledge of industrial/commercial wiring, 3-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, transformers, MCCBs.
Use of multimeter, megger, clamp meter, oscilloscope, thermal imaging.
Problem-solving under pressure, attention to safety, good communication, ability to work on call/shift.
