Core Responsibilities:
Process optimization — Analyzing production workflows to reduce waste, cut costs, and improve throughput (often using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen)
Equipment and maintenance oversight — Ensuring machinery runs smoothly, scheduling preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting breakdowns to minimize downtime
Quality control — Monitoring output to ensure it meets specifications, working with QA teams to reduce defects
Production planning — Scheduling production runs, managing capacity, and coordinating with supply chain/inventory teams.
