Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and rigging plans to determine safe lifting capacities
Operate crane controls to lift, swing, and lower loads with precision
Communicate with signal persons, riggers, and ground crew (hand signals, radio)
Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols at all times
Maintain logs of maintenance, inspections, and operating hours
Calculate load weights and set up outriggers/stabilizers correctly
Report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions immediately.
