Key Responsibilities
Loading, unloading, and moving building materials, tools, and equipment on site
Digging trenches, backfilling holes, and compacting earth
Mixing and pouring concrete, mortar, or plaster
Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures
Operating basic hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers, compactors)
Assisting skilled tradespeople with measuring, cutting, and installing materials
Cleaning and clearing debris, keeping the site tidy and hazard-free
Directing traffic or operating signage/flagging near work zones (sometimes)
Following blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
