Security Officer

Core Responsibilities

Surveillance & Patrol – Regularly patrol the premises (on foot, by vehicle, or via CCTV monitoring) to detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access
Access Control – Check IDs, monitor entry/exit points, issue visitor badges, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
Incident Response – React to alarms, disturbances, theft, fires, medical emergencies, or other incidents; contain situations until police, fire, or medical services arrive if needed
Reporting & Documentation – Write detailed daily logs and incident reports; document any unusual occurrences, damages, or safety violations
Enforcing Policies – Ensure compliance with company rules, safety codes, and applicable laws (e.g., no smoking, restricted zones)
