Bartender

Take orders directly from customers or via wait staff
Check IDs to verify customers are of legal drinking age
Monitor customers for signs of intoxication and refuse service responsibly when needed
Handle cash and card transactions, operate POS systems, balance the till at shift’s end
Stock and restock the bar (liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice)
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and equipment per health codes
Manage bar inventory and report low stock to management
Create a welcoming atmosphere — engage with customers, make recommendations, build rapport with regulars.
