Production Operator

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Setting up and operating machinery — Prepare equipment according to work orders, setup sheets, or standard operating procedures (SOPs); start, stop, and run production lines or machines.
Monitoring processes — Watch gauges, controls, human-machine interfaces, temperature, pressure, speed, and other parameters; make authorized adjustments to keep operations within specification and minimize downtime.
Quality checks and inspections — Perform visual, dimensional, weight, or other in-process and finished-product inspections; identify defects and ensure products meet standards.
