Core Responsibilities:
Setup and operation: Set up machines according to specifications, load materials, and start/stop equipment as needed
Monitoring: Watch machine performance during operation to catch malfunctions, jams, or quality issues early
Quality control: Inspect finished products against specs, using measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to check dimensions and tolerances
Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs; report bigger issues to maintenance teams
Documentation: Record production output, downtime, defects, and machine settings in logs or digital systems.
