Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, and work surfaces
Properly storing clean equipment, dishes, and utensils
Operating and maintaining dish machines, garbage disposals, and trash compactors
Sorting and disposing of trash, recycling, and food waste
Restocking cleaning supplies, dish soap, and kitchen essentials
Assisting cooks with basic food prep tasks when needed (washing produce, peeling, etc.)
Ensuring compliance with health and safety/sanitation codes.
