Personal care: help with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding (where appropriate)
Care and support: assist with activities of daily living and promote independence
Monitoring (within scope): observe and report changes in condition (e.g., pain, behavior, appetite, mobility)
Vitals & basic checks (if trained): may include taking temperature, pulse, BP, blood sugar (only if your employer allows/trains)
Medication support: may assist with “prompting” or administration only as permitted by policy/training (often not full medication responsibility)
Maintain hygiene standards: infection prevention and control.
