Cyber security Analyst

Job Details

Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other telemetry; triage and investigate alerts.
Perform incident response: contain, eradicate, recover, document, and perform post-incident analysis.
Conduct vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation with IT and dev teams.
Analyze logs and network traffic to identify malicious activity and attack patterns.
Maintain and tune security tools (SIEM rules, IDS signatures, EDR policies, firewall rules).
Execute threat hunting and threat intelligence enrichment (IOC/TTP matching, MITRE ATT&CK mapping).
Support identity and access management reviews and privilege escalation detection.
Generate reports and metrics for leadership and audit/regulatory compliance.

Qualification/Requirement

High school Diploma or equivalent,  SIEM: Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic SIEM
EDR: CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
IDS/IPS & network tools: Snort, Suricata, Zeek, Wireshark
Vulnerability scanners: Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS
Cloud security: AWS (CloudTrail, GuardDuty), Azure (Azure Monitor, Sentinel), GCP logging
Firewalls & NGFWs: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point
Scripting & automation: Python, PowerShell, Bash
Forensics: Volatility, Autopsy, FTK, OSQuery

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication for incident reports and stakeholder updates
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and make timely decisions
Collaboration with IT, dev, legal, and business teams
Attention to detail and documentation discipline
