Key Responsibilities:
Continuously monitoring networks, systems, logs, and security tools (especially SIEM platforms) for threats, alerts, and anomalies.
Investigating security incidents, analyzing logs/network traffic/endpoint data, and performing triage.
Responding to breaches or incidents (containment, remediation, recovery) and coordinating with other teams.
Conducting vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and recommending or verifying fixes.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining security tools such as firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS, antivirus/EDR, and related software.
Developing or refining detection rules, playbooks, security policies, and best practices.
