Security Officer

Patrolling interior and exterior areas (on foot or by vehicle) to check doors, windows, gates, perimeters, and restricted zones for signs of intrusion, damage, or hazards.
Access control — verifying IDs, issuing visitor badges, managing entrances/exits, and ensuring only authorized people enter.
Monitoring systems — watching CCTV cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment; responding to alerts.
Responding to incidents — handling emergencies (medical, fire, disturbances), detaining trespassers if appropriate, providing basic first aid, and coordinating with police or emergency services.
