Laboratory Manager

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, supervise, mentor, evaluate, and develop laboratory technicians, research associates, scientists, and support staff. Foster teamwork, resolve conflicts, and ensure competency.
Operations oversight: Coordinate workflows, assign tasks, plan experiments or testing schedules, manage lab space and equipment usage, and ensure efficient day-to-day functioning.
Inventory and resources: Order, inspect, and maintain supplies, reagents, chemicals, and equipment; track inventory; manage budgets and control costs.
