Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans
Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall
Constructing frameworks including walls, floors, and door frames
Installing structures such as windows, molding, and hardware
Building or repairing cabinets, doors, staircases, and furniture
Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures
Erecting scaffolding or ladders for buildings.
